DOUBLIN ALESSANDRO 11

#DOUBLINTRIESTE

Doublin’, from the word “to double”, is a pun inspired by the name of the city of Dublin. Two cities, Trieste and Dublin, which thanks to the artist’s neons overlap to celebrate the famous Irish writer, James Joyce, and his strong bond with Trieste.

#CAVANAALNEON

Evening tours to dive into Joyce’s Night Town, and deep into Trieste’s literary, social and cultural memory, in a route which will take you through Cavana’s alleys, among tales of brothels, taverns and sailors, guided by the artist’s neons of the project Doublin’ Trieste.

CAVANA AL NEON

#CAVANASTORIES

Since the early ‘900 Cavana has been a crossroad of human stories which have made it one of Trieste’s most evocative places. Cavana Stories is an experience for a collective storytelling, which aims at bringing to the surface the lives and stories of those who have lived here, mixing present, past and future.

THE ART DISTRICT

Born as 4 artist’s neons that “double” Dublin’s red district overlapping it with Trieste’s Night Town, in a glowing visual interplay among literary and physical places, Doublin’ has become something more, a broader project aiming at launching a  proper art district in Trieste.
